Why use a tablecloth on your table?

Types of Tablecloths

White: When entertaining guests your table could benefit from a white cloth that gives a plain canvas to build upon without clashing with the colours of the dinner set. A white tablecloth is also handy when entertaining large groups to disguise the addition of different tables joined together.

Printed Cotton Tablecloths:  Decorated in patterns and colours are wonderful for casual entertaining bringing in a fun and happy vibe to the table setting. These should be easily cleaned for frequent use.

Oilcloth: you may remeber this style of tablecloth from your childhood. Simply wipe to clean the surface of the oiled cloth. Perfect for Parents with slightly messy children.

What Size Tablecloth do I need?

• Choose between 6 seater and 8 seater sizes for your tablecloth. To get the best fit, measure your table before purchasing
• Add a min of 20cm to a max of 30cm to allow for the drop.  Therefore your overhang will be between 10cm – 15cm for every side of the table.  A drop that is too long will get in the way and become cumbersome.

How to choose the right size for a Round Tablecloth?

• For a smaller round table measure your table and add 25 – 30cm to the diam.   This rule is ideal for a 4 seater round table.
• For larger round tables which sit more than 4 seats add 30cm – 40cm to the diam.
